Thanks to everyone’s participation, the Central Florida area was able to dispose of 13,627 pounds during the 19th Prescription Take Back Event! See the breakdown from DEA Orlando below.

The DEA’s Take Back Day events provide an opportunity for Americans to prevent drug addiction and overdose deaths.
Saturday, October 24th from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) will be sponsoring a nationwide medication take back day. Collection sites will be set up for your convenience to help get unused and expired medications out of homes and disposed of properly. Help prevent medication misuse by collecting any unused or expired medications in your home for an anonymous, safe, and environmentally-friendly disposal.
